IPCheckHub Cookie Policy
The current public site does not intentionally configure advertising or optional analytics cookies. This page also explains its limited local and session storage.
1. Current cookie position
IPCheckHub does not currently configure advertising, behavioral profiling, or optional analytics cookies on public pages. The application middleware removes locale-setting cookie headers from public page routing, and no analytics provider is mounted in the public layout.
Because no optional cookie category is currently enabled, IPCheckHub does not show a preference banner for its own optional cookies. This must change before an optional cookie or similar tracker is enabled where consent or notice is required.
2. Browser storage that is not a cookie
- Local storage may remember your light, dark, or system theme preference until you change it or clear site data.
- Session storage may hold an opaque task identifier and bounded expected parameters so the same tab session can resume or cancel a supported in-progress check.
- Proxy usernames and passwords are not written to IPCheckHub local storage or session storage.
3. Cloudflare strictly necessary cookies
Cloudflare provides delivery and security infrastructure. Depending on the security feature applied to a request, Cloudflare may set a cookie it describes as strictly necessary for traffic management or protection. IPCheckHub does not use that cookie for advertising.
4. Your controls
You can inspect, block, or delete cookies and site storage using your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent a security check or an in-progress task from working or being resumed. Clearing site data removes the stored theme and task ownership markers from that browser.
5. Changes
This page will be updated before IPCheckHub intentionally enables optional analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking, or additional persistent browser storage. The date at the top identifies the current version.
